Beauty Haul!

Aloha!
I hope you are all well! I've saved up a few of the makeup and beauty bits I've purchased over the last 2 weeks or so to do a haul! Yay! Everybody loves a good old haul once in a while!
So, I'm going to jump straight in!

First of all I got the Superdrug Vitamin E night cream, I re purchased this because it's a nice, affordable, moisturising cream! Second was the simple kind to skin deep cleansing face mask, I love to use this after using my rio sonicleanse because it really calms my skin down and reduces redness. I also picked up the Palmer's natural bronze body lotion, I love this stuff and have used it for years! Its a gorgeous gradual tanner, and smells amazing!

I picked up 2 sets of nails from Primark, I LOVE their nails! The glue isn't great but you can get better ones seperately.  I got rounded white tipped ones for a French manicured look and a lovely dusty pink set which also have rounded tips! Can't wait to give them a go!  Also from Primark I picked up a set of eyelashes from 'The Only Way Is Essex' line, they were reduced to £1.00 so thought I'd give them a whirl, they look really nice and natural. Next I got a Maybeline Super Stay 10h Tint Gloss in the shade 'Lasting Pink', why they give them such long names I will never know!  I've wanted to try this product for such a long time so thought I'd finally give in and treat myself! I was so glad I did because I LOVE it! I really really hope they come out with more shades because all the shades they have out now seem to be really red and dark! I would love to see some lighter pinks which will be perfect for the day time!
Also from Superdrug I got the Rimmel Stay Stronger basecoat, it's a really lovely pinky colour with a tiny bit of shimmer in, but on your nails it comes out clear which is fine, as it is a base coat! Also on the nail varnish front I got the BarryM Nail Paint in the shade 'Mushroom' which I have also wanted to try for a while! I really love it! It looks so nice on, I think it may just have crept into my top 5!
From Lush I got a Bubblegum lipscrub which I just buy to eat (Naughty!) And 2 bath ballistics, Twilight which smells amazing and Space Girl which smells like parma Violets and turns your bath lilac and sparkly! I also bought A 'Charity pot' Which is where they add £1 on to your purchase at the till and it goes to charity, in return you get a tiny little pot of body cream, its so cute! I don't care for it very much though so my mum can have it!

I got some bits from The Body Shop, 3 body butters which I love! The cocoa butter, Stawberry and Pink grapefruit.  Pink Grapefruit is my favourite, but I love them all! Make you smell amazing and are super moisturising! Then I got the Wild Cherry body scrub which I haven't tried yet.  Lastly I got the Mango Lip Butter, which I absolutely adore! I tastes and smells so so nice! And it moisturises my lips so well! Want to try more flavours!

I picked up 2 hairsprays from Superdrug, I got the Shine and Volumising ones, I just thought I'd give them a go as they were on offer.  I also picked up the Superdrug acetone free nail polish remover.  From Primark I got a pack of 80 cotton pads which I use to tone my face with after cleansing.

Last but not least!!!
I got the Stila One Step Correct primer, I've wanted to try this for a good while, and how cute does it look!? All the colours swirled together like that!

The idea is that each colour has a purpose and corrects the tones in your skin.  Green for example, is supposed to cancel out redness. To be honest, I don't agree with the claims Stila make about this product.  I can see the idea though, and it is an ok primer. However the price is pretty steep so at around £23 I won't be repurchasing.

I hope you enjoyed my Haul! I've been super busy on instagram lately so please go and follow me, my name is alex_elissabeth! I would really appreciate it!
Hope you enjoy the rest of your day!
Hugs,

October&November Empties!

Hi guys!
This is my first ever empties post!  If you don't know what that means, its just all the products I've completely used up, and I'll just tell you abit about them and what I thought of them!

*****
First of all I have 3 jelly Belly bath salts, the packaging is really cute and in the pots they smelled amazing the 'Very Cherry' was my favourite.  However, they had no affect on my bath whatsoever, they didn't colour my water, make it smell nice or make it softer... So I won't be re-purchasing these because they just didn't do anything!

This No7 protective moisture cream was sat in my draw for about a year before I actually used it, but when I finally got to it it was really nice! It sunk into my skin quickly, didnt leave it feeling too greasy, and was a really nice base for my foundation.  I probably won't be re-purchasing it, just because there are so many other moisturisers I have to use up and try before I settle for one!

Now this is something I really loved! Its a mascara by the brand 'Vital Radiance' which I have actually never heard of before, I got it as a Christmas present about 2 years ago and never even bothered opening it because I thought it would be rubbish, but I found it in the back of my draw about 4 months ago and thought I'd give it a whirl! It seperated out my lashes really nicely, and gave them alot of volume, which is exactly what I want in a mascara. Length is never really something I look out for because my lashes are naturally quite long and it looks far too overdone and abit freakish when I use a really lengthening mascara! I'll have to research the brand to find where I can find it, and when I do I will definitely be re-purchasing!

This is a freederm spot treatment, I've had it for years and lost the lid, so it looks very battered the poor little thing!  I can't really say this was a miracle worker, I used it because I had it and I won't be repurchasing!

This is the ReVive Moisturising cream, and I got this in a Glossybox a few months ago.  I really loved this cream, it was really thick and I used it when I needed intense moisturisation (is that even a word? No? Probably not...)  I think the full size of this was quite expensive and hard to get hold of but if I ever see it on sale I will repurchase it!

This is the Nivea soft moisturising cream.  I hated it.  I'm not going to beat around the bush, it was horrible!  My initial thoughts were that it felt quite nice as it was going on, but that only lasted for a few seconds.  It made my skin feel greasy and like it had an oily film over it which is never good.  It was also incredibly shiny!  my face turned into a light reflecting...... devise, type, thing...  and then to add insult to injury it broke me out! After one use! I was devastated and now I'm too scared to use any other Nivea products just incase!

this is the Dove fine skin bubble bath, I got this is a gift set last Christmas and have only just used it all up!  but I really did enjoy using it, it made my bath water super soft and smelled really nice!  I probably won't repurchase, simply because no one ever seems to know what to buy teenage girls for Christmas, so we always end up with about 7 different bath sets!

This is a planet Spa foot moisturiser cream I got for my birthday from a friend, it came with little white overnight socks which I have now lost, but the cream smelt really quite unusual, it was kind of cocoa buttery, but really strange!  It was definitely an acquired smell but I didn't mind it too much, it was nice and moisturising anyway!

This is a mini Toni&Guy firm hold hairspray, I think it must have come in a gift set or something a few years ago but it was quite nice and did the job, I probably won't be repurchasing because there are plenty of other hairsprays that are just as good or better at a much cheaper price!

These were just tiny samples of facial lotion and day cream from simple, the lotion was quite nice but very thin, almost like milk! And the day dream was also nice but much thicker.  I quite liked them both and am looking into simple skincare after using these two products!

This is a No7 hand cream, I carried it around in my handbad which is why its covered in stuff, but i really liked it however I won't be repurchasing just because I have so many hand creams in my draws to use up!

This is another Glossybox sample, its the Uniq one leave in conditioner.  This had a really nice 'salon' smell to it, and I really liked it!  As far as I know you can only purchase it online which is just a big hassle really, so I won't be re-purchasing but I did enjoy it!

So I hope that wasn't too boring for you, I just had all of these products saved up for whats seemed like months! I even moved house with them! My mum was not impressed when I had a box full of empty bottles for her to move with!
Hope you all have lovely weekends!
